Chicago City Sticker uploads through ELS!!!

As many of you know, the vendor ELS will also be providing the valuable city sticker service to your stores.  Because of this change, the 2008 DCS OTC program will upload to the vendor of your choice- either ELS or Garda.  The DCS OTC program is being provided *free of charge- nearly a $600 savings!

Sticker uploads through Internet

The city has also made it a requirement for sales of stickers to be accomplished electronically.  The DCS OTC module being integrated with both vendors satisfies this requirement.  Now your city stickers will be uploaded directly through your internet connection

Coinstar Pins - System check for receipt printer

Previously, tellers were able to complete a "prepaid product" transaction without having the receipt printer turned on. This created a problem for the stores since they were not able to provide customers with the PIN number that was generated for them. The new upgrade will perform a mandatory check before each prepaid pin transaction to be sure the receipt printer is active.  If the receipt printer is either off or disabled, the system will prevent the transaction from being completed and return the following message back to the teller

Auto import of Money order lookup file from main office

Every night, a money order lookup file is generated at each main office running MOCS and sent to each store with the current status of issued money orders. That lookup file is imported into the store as soon as the teller attempts to lookup a money order for the first time each day. The import process lasted a couple minutes long. The lookup file import process has now been automated. The Money order lookup files are imported automatically into each store as soon as they are received from the main office. This allows the tellers initial request to be instant, while streamlining the entire process.

ATS

Statical Reporting Options

An additional option has been added to the ATS Statistics menu to display hourly breakdown of business items by qualtity instead of dollar amount.  This new feature will allow store owners and managers to get a good idea of how busy their stores are during different times of day based on the number of customer transactions.

To view the report, go under the Vault menu, select report and click on ATS System Reports.

The ATS System reports menu will pop up. Click on the statistic button on the top right corner. Previously, when you selected the "Breakdown by hours" option, you only received the breakdown by dollar amount. Now additionally, you will have to option to view breakdown in relation to quantity by clicking the "by QTY (vs$$)" checkbox.

After checking the "by QTY (vs $$)" box, click on print to view the report. Additionally, you would have the ability to print the report as well as export it into an excel spreadsheet.

Sort transaction list by category

Previous releases of the software could only display the ATS transaction list sorted by individual tellers. The new update will provide the option to display the transaction list of all the combined tellers (by store) and sorted by category and transaction type.

To view the report, go under the Vault menu, select report and click on ATS System Reports.

The ATS System reports menu will pop up. Click on the Transactions button at the top center of the menu.

After selecting the date range and transaction categories you want the report for, check the "Combine" checkbox below the teller list to display the combined teller report sorted by transaction type
